Reading time:
As the prime venue for navigating the new media landscape, IBC sets to open its doors from September 13 to 16 at the RAI in Amsterdam. This conference is a fusion of industry as key players from media, entertainment, and technology take space to share the latest insights from their domains. Collabora will also be present to add the open source touch at Booth C40 in Hall 5; come by to say hello!
To illustrate the versatility of open source, we have three demos ready to show you: the first features some of our work with Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Video on the DAB protocol. The second looks at the complexities of the software integration of LCEVC, MPEG's novel enhancement codec, into the GStreamer multimedia framework. And the third is a collaboration with PlutoVR on remote-rendering for standalone XR.
As a key contributor to the GStreamer, PipeWire, and Wayland projects, Collabora offers unparalleled expertise in integrating cutting-edge Open Source technologies with the latest multimedia standards. Whether your needs involve low-latency streaming, cloud transcoding, embedded capture and playback, or AR/VR development, Collabora provides an array of tailored solutions to help you innovate across the digital media landscape.
See you there!
