Hallo Nürnberg!

This week, we're in Germany to take part in this year's edition of Embedded World, "the leading international fair for embedded systems"! This marks the first time Collabora exhibits at this yearly event, and we'll have multiple demos to showcase over the course of three days! Come say hello, booth 4-170!

First and foremost, now that SRT has been integrated in GStreamer, come see it all in action, thanks to Haivision's Makito H.264 hardware encoder, a Raspberry Pi 3, and a Qualcomm SnapDragon 410 SoC!

We'll also have a Renesas R-Car demo featuring a Waltham multi-ECU remote display, the Open Source network protocol that allows for seamless sharing of graphical content and input between the cluster and infotainment domains while keeping security intact. In addition, you'll get an opportunity to learn about Apertis, the GNU/Linux-based platform built to deliver a white label, app-centric, end-to-end automotive IVI solution!

As well, we'll have an example of a complete OS build and infrastructure solution based on Debian, as well as an example that showcases ongoing work around mainline Linux, explicit synchronization of shared graphic buffers, and the Rockhip RK3399 SoC.

If you are planning on attending Embedded World this week, please come visit us in Hall 4, booth 4-170 & see what our team has been working on! Whether its writing a line of code or shaping a long-term strategic software development plan, Collabora is uniquely suited to accelerate and facilitate the realization of your embedded Open Source projects. Let us show you how we can help!
